Hate split ends? Unfortunately, they’re a fact of life that almost every single one of us has to deal with. I am here to tell you how to remove the split ends.
1, Trim them yourself. You can simply trim them by using a small pair of hair shears or scissors. Cutting single strands about 6mm above the split. If you cut too close to the damage, the split may reappear.
This can take a long time, esp. for thick or damaged hair.
2, Cut your hair regularly. A hairdresser can always trim off split ends, but will usually remove about 1⁄4 to 1 inch (0.6 to 2.5 cm) of your hair along with them.
If you aren’t trimming split ends yourself, avoiding the hairdresser will not save your long hair. Neglected split ends will become weaker and weaker, eventually breaking off.
Tips: Flat irons, curling irons or other hot tools should not be used on damaged hair with long and lots of split ends, or your hair will become worse.
